I took a friend to watch her son play. The facility was nice, well maintained, with friendly staff. Drink prices weren't bad. It was a little chilly but I'm probably the only one who didn't expect that.

We live in SE GA, but have a naturally talented hockey player 8 years old, who absolutely loves to ice skate and doesn’t get to often. Navy Dad being here for a work trip and getting to ice skate with him was something he really wanted to do. A memory he wanted to have after missing him for a long time. Get to the rink and the ONLY pair of skates they had in my husbands size was broke . Okay, fine. Also had our two year old… but won’t give out a walker during the glow skate? I guess understandable and I guess if you make an exception for one you’d have to for everyone. But here’s the kicker… yall wouldn’t give a refund for my out of state military husband and family for skates that didn’t fit so now my husband couldn’t even skate?! And half my family had to sit out because my husband and two year old couldn’t enjoy the experience. Very disappointing.

Service was pretty speedy ! Staff were nice and understanding when I had questions about why we were switching icerinks! I wish they'd a better job at patrolling the people on the Ice , especially kids but its okay

Great place to watch kiddos play hockey 🏒 but it's also a fantastic place to join a skate club, learn ice skating ⛸️ and/or there's a free skate with stand up glider thingys so you don't bust your butt. Or so your kids don't bust their butts, bonus you can use it to help teach them while holding on too 😉.Go try it! It's easier than you think!

This is the official practice facility for the Norfolk Admirals. There are two rinks and several locker rooms, including one for women. Public skating is seventeen dollars including skates, same price without rental. This is the home of Tidewater Figure Skating Club. I believe they offer a free lesson for those possibly interested.They offer a lot of programs and are a top notch well organized and extremely well staffed with amazing coaches. This is also the home of a Junior league hockey team know as the Whalers. This a fantastic organization, with hockey skills of all levels. If interested sometimes they have a try hockey for free day. There is also beer leagues. There is a small grille with a limited menu but the food is good. Well staffed with friendly staff.Update, there is not skate sharpening but there is a Play it Again Sports very close where you can get your skates sharpening and they bake skates for 20. There are tons of restaurants and hotels in the area. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.
